We are now looking for a Serviceability Engineer within the department of Product Lifecycle Engineering!

The Product Lifecycle Engineering department is incorporated inside the Technical Development Organization. The overall responsibilities of the department Product Lifecycle Engineering are to formulate requirements, design influence, develop diagnostics and technical information as well as deliver or publish the information to customers. Our customers are both internal and external, during the vehicles complete lifecycle until scrapping.


The role as Serviceability Engineer also involves:

  • Develop validation methods, secure, perform and document validation result of the serviceability requirements, both virtual validation and hands-on on vehicle.
  • Responsibility for developing action plans when problems have been identified
  • Perform serviceability-engineering work e.g. service parts and repair method determination in advance, document and communicate.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • University degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent experience
  • Long experience working within aftersales domain, preferably serviceability work or mechanical repair methods, minimum 5 years
  • Very good knowledge and experience in CAD environments
  • Good knowledge and experience in illustration development.
  • Excellent knowledge about modern vehicles and systems.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
  • Driver license B
